Service Support for Gas Analysis Systems:

 

A relatively unknown product available from Avensys Solutions is service support for gas analysis systems supplied by others.

 

In a remote northern Ontario town on the eastern shore of Lake Superior, Avensys Solutions (Willer Engineering at that time) discovered a customer operating an Oriented Strand Board mill (OSB) with a Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEM) that was not in operating condition. The mill had very competent maintenance personnel that had over a five year period been unable to get the CEM started let alone operating reliably. Attempts to get the equipment working had long since been abandoned by the original vendor. At the time Avensys Solutions Sales discovered this application, the mill was under threat of large fines and closure by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment for non-compliant operation of their combustor. Avensys Solutions Service department became involved and was able to get the system operating reliably in a very short period of time. Further to this initial effort our Sales and Service department worked in tune with the customer to develop a quarterly service audit program, a training certification/recertification program for maintenance and operations personnel, and an equipment subscription program.

 

Avensys Solutions continued to assist this customer to maintain the CEM system for several years until it was no longer practical to maintain the equipment. Avensys Solutions then proceeded to custom design and supply a replacement CEM system and maintenance program.
